Jeff McConnell may be known for co-piloting the See Red Camaro, but he also participated in six Hot Rod Drag Weeks in his own 1980 Chevrolet Malibu!

When you have friends like Doc McEntire, you know Jeff’s car is going to be fast! Jeff and Doc campaigned both cars for five of the six years. Hot Rod Drag Week 2014 was the final year for the Malibu, coincidentally 2016 was the first year the Camaro went mid 8s….

The Malibu doesn’t have the same finish record as the Camaro…. But, when the car finishes, it Wins!!

Will he bring the Malibu back out??

Doc had this to say this about the 2014 HRDW for Jeff’s car – “2014 was his last attempt when brutal radial tire shake knocked the thrust bearing out of his wicked small block.”
