Sick Week 2022 marked the 10th First Place Finish, and 12th event, of the See Red Camaro!! These guys have WON classes at Hot Rod Drag Week, Rocky Mountain Race Week, Sick Week and Race Week!! Jeff campaigned his own 1980 Malibu during SIX events!
The team has been so close to the elusive 7 Second Average THREE TIMES, with 8.033, 8.050 and 8.039!! Simply shaving .007 from their ETs during 2017, would have secured the 7’s!!
Powertrain and New Record
The engine is a Goodwin Competition All Billet 709 CI Hemi with more than 15:1 Compression! The team currently holds the record for Fastest Naturally Aspirated Street Car with their South Georgia Motorsports Park pass on Sick Week 2022 of 7.885 @ 167.05 mph! That was DAY FOUR and 650 miles into the trip!! That is backed by a Powerglide and GearVendors Overdrive!
Can they be beat??
Doc said his schedule is so busy, he likely won’t make another drag and drive event this year! That leaves the door open for someone to scoop in for 2022! Is there anyone that could claim the 7’s, Naturally Aspirated, before Doc and Jeff????
