Rob Ambrose will be piloting the 2001 Camaro seen below for Midwest Drags 2022. This event will be Rob’s first drag and drive event to race. He is no rookie though, having co-piloted for Matt Lang on four other occasions since 2019! Matt and Rob are swapping seats for this event. Will Matt make a good navigator, DJ, snack getter, morale booster???

Making the trip

The guys will be coming 650 miles, from Landing, NJ, to compete in the 10.0 Class, with a goal to podium. They are bringing a drag and drive proven 2001 Camaro that Matt bought in 2019 and sold to Rob in 2021. The turbo LS in the car makes 749 WHP [Matt says it is an inside joke, we’ll find out what it means] and finished HRDW 2021 with a 10.0568 average!!
