Two Podiums in One Year!

Greg drives one of the nicest 1972 Nova’s you’ll see! And this car is no trailer queen, he has driven it on five drag and drive events, like Rocky Mountain Race Week! The car has the perfect recipe for repeatable power with its LS1, 4L80 and Ford 9”. Greg has been 11.20s at his local tracks. He adjusted timing to slow the car down enough to podium at both Rocky Mountain Race Week events in 2021.

Greg said the car “wouldn’t run 12.0s in altitude at Bandimere so had to slow it way down at 1.0 to run 13.0s.” And it worked, he placed 3rd with his 13.0692!! For Race Week ’21, he was able to turn it back up (a little) and won the 12.0 Index class with a 12.0146!! Greg is coming back for both events in 2022!! Can he better his 13.0 Class finish and repeat his 12.0 Index win???

Greg lives close to me, so I will make the trip to visit with him for some stories and video of the car!!
